Leadership and Governance
YARAC trains and mentors young people in leadership skills, democratic participation, and active citizenship to prepare them for meaningful roles in society.
Reproductive Health and HIV/AIDS
Through collaboration with the Plateau State Ministry of Education and religious institutions, YARAC successfully mainstreamed Family Life and HIV/AIDS Education in 217 public secondary schools. Our work has contributed to reduced teenage pregnancy, lower school dropout rates, and improved reproductive health awareness.
Conflict Prevention and Peace building
YARAC advances dialogue-driven peace building initiatives among Christian and Muslim youth in Plateau and Benue States, promoting tolerance, ecological justice, and constructive community engagement.
Youth Entrepreneurial Development
We encourage youth self-reliance through training, mentorship, and initiatives that promote innovation and economic empowerment.
